I made this real-time Ottawa inspired scene in Blender to get up to speed with Valve pioneered hot-spot texturing workflow.
Since the plugin for hotspotting was open source and python, I was able to jump in and add my own feature ( atlas sub-selection )




The two hotspot materials I made in substance designer to texture the bulk of the scene with.
